Square tip and high-capacity "up-sharp" (unrelieved) flutes.
Used both for end cutting and side cutting of "soft" materials like wood, ivory, plastics, phenolics and un-fired ceramics. These custom bits totally eliminate the burning and melting commonly encountered when cutting soft media with conventional end mills. The unique geometry also does away with the need to change bits when cutting laminates composed of materials with widely varying cutting properties.
